"Fast forward. You had just been elected the president of the country. Unfortunately, the entire country is suffering from power crisis since global prices of oil plummeted to a level no one can ever imagine. The only solution that can resolve the power crisis is opening the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) that had been mothballed already for the past 30 years. Knowing that BNPP is just an 8-minute ride from the 7 km-long Morong Beach which is the nesting place of the endangered marine turtles, will you still allow the opening of the BNPP?" - TheUrbanGuru AKA T. Because our opinions differ, each of the bloggers have posted their own opinions on this subject!
"The Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) is a power plant that has been mothballed already for the past 30 years. Its construction started on February 1986. A few minutes away is the Morong Beach, where the endangered marine turtles are nesting. If there was a power crisis and opening the BNPP is the only way to solve it, there would be advantages, also disadvantages. Let's start with the advantages! First of all, the country would get the needed electricity already, or even more than needed. Also, we will be able to have a power supply for the succeeding years however, since nuclear energy causes global warming, the eggs hatching time will get longer, as mentioned in our post concerning the marine turtles. Our endangered marine turtles may die because of the pollution, so the Philippines' tourism would not be as good anymore if they're gone. Also, the Earth's atmosphere will increase in temperature, causing the melting of glaciers and ice in the Antarctic. If I were president and I was left with the responsibility to decide to open it or not, I would say no. Why you ask? It's because I don't think the number of marine turtles should suffer only because we have no electricity. In the older days, they were able to live without games, TVs, computers, gadgets and they could live without electricity. So if they were able to, why cant we?" - Daisy
"First of all, the marine turtles should've been evacuated
even before when a time like this happens. However, there's always a solution
where nothing gets destroyed. As the President of the Philippines, I will open
the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant, after evacuating the marine turtles to a place
where it's safe for them. Moreover, if we can create a nuclear power plant,
then we can definitely create a new habitat for our precious turtles. The BNPP
has both its advantages and disadvantages. It generates nuclear energy which
provides us electricity; therefore, benefiting us opportunities to success. On
the contrary, we may be badly affected with radiation.
As I was saying, we can save both humans and marine turtles from harm through evacuating the turtles before opening the mothballed nuclear power plant. Hence, everything will be peaceful and orderly." - Pommy

"If I were to be a president, I'd open the BNPP. I have more concern for the peoples well-being than the marine turtles. Energy is a very important factor in todays society, and imagine the needs for it in the future. The BNPP excels in energy production if were to ever need it. It is fuel-efficient and in a very controlled environment. If we were to lose energy, we'd be in very bad condition and in need for this energy. Other country's would know this, and we would lose many benefits. We'd lose luxury for tourist, more scheduled black outs and much more. It is obvious that opening the BNPP would provide a lot more benefits than protecting the sea turtle however, they would not just die because of this. Opening the BNPP doesn't necessarily mean that the Sea Turtles have a doomed fate. If the BNPP was managed orderly and correctly, we would avoid nuclear disasters. So, in conclusion, I would open the BNPP but under strict moderation and care." - Jinx

In conclusion, we all have different opinions. There are different advantages and disadvantages, and some outweigh others. All we can do is just hope and pray that such crisis would not happen. Thank you for reading our post, and as they say in latin culture, Valete, amici mei!
what happened to AIM?

It was amazing! But I think it needs more pizzazz in order it to make it sound exciting and more expressive. It was sad that you were not able to contact AIM and it was also good that you apologized. Also I saw some errors such as:
1. "... we hope that you'll enjoy these last two post!" (posts)
2. "... the eggs hatching time will get longer" (I believe it's "developing time" and also I think it's "will take longer")
3. "... We'd lose luxury for tourist" (I think it should be "tourists" or "We won't develop" or maybe "lose tourism")
4. "... than protecting the sea turtle" (turtles)
Also, the last words of this post: "Valete, amici mei! " should have an english translation. Other than those mentioned I thought this post was super awesome!
So that's all I got! Hope you got all that and that you'll do your best in your last post! GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!!

1. YOU CANNOT RELOCATE THE NESTING SITE OF MARINE TURTLES. You can't tell a turtle where she should lay her egg!!!
2. Consistency. This is my LEAST favorite. I am SAD. VERY SAD.
